shame
Wrongfully banned

Did not think this was possible, but it actually can happen!
Been playing at lichess for the past years, but joined a internal discord community tournament with my old chess.com account, and got banned for "outside assistance". Did appeal the ban, but to no avail.
The account does not matter too much to me, but i still find it worrying that the appeal/ auto ban system actually manages to hit false positives. I do assume that most of the appeals for 'regular' people don't get looked to closely into though.
Will look at banned/closed accounts in another light from now on! and i guess shame on you chess.com (: !
The site doesn't close accounts if there's not sufficient evidence to close. If an appeal was not granted, then staff are really sure
