Yeah, I’m done with chess.

It is overly draining to my mental health and I keep overthinking about it.

I tried openings, but that just made me even more confused.

The advice on blundering only worked a little bit, but still, my eyes somehow couldn’t concentrate it.

Goodbye.

If chess is hurting your mental health right now, it's okay to step away.

You don't have to be crazy to play chess... but it helps.

You obviously have very little talent for the game. Try some card games, go or backgammon.

Maybe chess is not for you. Stop playing for some time and you will return if you feel “chess hunger”.

I actually find one month breaks refreshing, and usually come back stronger than ever, I will prob. take one when I am done with this round of daily games.

Indeed. Sometimes breaks help to decrease stress level and you return even in better shape.

Chess is a good game, but it isn't meant for everyone. There is no harm in leaving if you don't think it is good for you.

Sad but true. But I imagine if person registered here - he should give chess second chance.

Just take a break for however long you want to and when you are ready go to the game again. Another thing is that it is helps to play chess on a real chess board because you are with family or friends who will help you and be supportive.
