Don't get confused Zwischenzug with Zugzwang . These two are completely two different things. Now ,
Zwischenzug is a chess tactic in which player, instead of playing the expected move, first interposes another move posing an immediate threat that the opponent must answer, and only then plays the expected move.
while Zugzwang , meaning a situation where a chess player is forced to move and any move will disadvantage the player.
