Whow thats such a poorly programmed lesson.

He insists that I solve this HIS way.

Seriously, he asks what moves exactly I have to make in THIS position:

Buddy all work is over at this point and the king is already trapped. All I have to do is keep it trapped while I put the pieces into the right position to deliver checkmate. This can be done with countless sequences of moves. Why would I need to remember a specific one that YOU prefer ?!? Absolutley dumb.

Obviously I absolutely dont care about figuring out which way exactly he wants to see this solved. Only that I can do it.

Anyway GM Feingold has recently made a video about this (actually two), and GM Naroditsky also had a good one on this as well. Well, actually Danya's is better because he also talks about getting the king into the wrong corner first, which is also not easy.

knights and bishops can be an incredible duo. when people don't compare them every 5 seconds

Yes its tricky and I dont think I can do it yet either, but I'm getting a better idea.

Btw I dont understand why GM Naroditsky is the only one explaining how you can "shoulder" the opponent king to the border fist. Which is kind of the first thing you should learn.
