It doesn't feel right. White wins but it is not study-like. Is this really an endgame "white begins and wins"?
Can you solve this study?
The problem is that 1. Pxf8=Q+ Kxf8 2. Kd7! wins without complications. I can't figure out what else to do

Oh yeah sorry, my bad. I’ve definitely seen this before and recall there’s a promotion to a black piece involved.

@JamesColeman. The original solution did indeed have a promotion to a Black piece.
@Arisktotle You’re solution is correct as it is a cook to this joke of a problem.
For both of you and many more, see the problem here: https://pdb.dieschwalbe.de/search.jsp?expression=probid=%27P1372243%27
You can find the original solution there is German notation.
As I understand the target is to remove the black king.
After that white can capture many black pieces
It amazes me how anyone could think that 1. Pxf8=Q+ does not win. Look at the overwhelming activity of the white pieces in a materially equal position apart from some powerless pawns. "Die Schwalbe" writes that black in is in zugzwang after 1. ... Kxf8 2. Kd7 as if white scores a lucky victory but that too is completely non-sensical. Black is simply crushed in a few moves by the pile of wood dumped on him.
Here’s a tough problem for you all! It’s White to move and win
