Um, studying endgames is not the same as an endgame study. An endgame study is a chess composition taking place in the endgame.
Endgame study - Carlsen v Kramnik

After 26. Nb3 Qxf2+ black looks to be losing already. White's pieces looks better positioned for a better endgame even with material equal.

I'm studying endgames because honestly, my EG sucks pretty bad when playing live and have limited time to think through all the possible options. Seems Magnus is considered to be one of, if not, the best endgame Champion from what I hear; since I play the Bird's opening, I figured I would start with this game.
Not sure how good you are with the basics, but Jesus de la Villa's 100 endgames you must know is excellent
I practice 100 tactics puzzle daily but my Opening & Endgame sucks. If I have time, I can find a decent line/plan at the End but if not, then I'm mostly going by instinct which doesn't work out most times, meaning I get a good Endgame but blow it with mistakes or even blunders to lose a (theoretically) won game. Thanks for the advice, I'll check it out when I have time.
