How does white win this endgame?

I don't think it's easy for white to win here

White can only win if it's Black's move here.. if it's whites move, the it's going to end as a stalemate

If it’s whites move, it’s simply kf7 maintaining opposition, forcing black to kh8, white goes back in front of the pawn on kg6 to avoid the stalemate trap by forcing kg8, leading to the position posted yesterday where white has a reserved tempo with the pawn forcing black out of opposition and off the back rank with kh6, important to note for this particular stalemate trap with a knight pawn, always move to the short side.

If it's white turn, you play Kf7 so you have opposition and your king can't take your pawn since it will be always protected by the king (creating a red carpet for the pawn) and then finish the game with a queen endgame. If it's blackturn you do the same with white when black plays Kh8, but usually as black Kg8 is played, then you must keep opposition once again and play Kg6 and after black turns play either Kf7 or Kh7, one of them that is possible

LikeBlueberry Does it look like this?

Pretty ez possible no matter who is going
At least according to the chess engine

This is a forced win, but white has to be careful not to stalemate. White should maneuver his king to h6 to give the black king an exit square. Then it’s easy

Yes it is not easy, but moves can be found by the method of elimination, excluding those that are sure to stalemate

Kf7 is the right move
