The endgame is won by relocating your king around c7. Black will end up in zugzwang when attempting to block your king from reaching e8 or e5. In some variations you need to sacrifice your f-pawn and/or your h-pawn but the last pawn standing wins. You need all pawns. Starting with just 2 of the 3 leads to an obvious draw.
By the way, it matters greatly where the kings are. There is a precise drawing diagonal running from b1 to h7. If the white king succeeds in crossing it, white wins. The next example shows how black keeps a draw by preventing the cross.
