K&P vs KN Draw Question

Hi everyone,
I'm working through Silman's Endgame Manual and he states that capturing the Knight in this postion leads to a draw, but I don't see how white will get the chance to capture the pawn before it promotes. Am I missinng something?
This is from page 71. Silman does not mention anything about there being a draw in case Black captures the knight in that position. Indeed, there is no legal way to capture the knight there.
1.... Kc4 2.Nc2 Kc3 3.Nd4+ (and on and on like that until...) c2 4.Nxc2 Kxc2, with a draw because of insufficient mating material.
Perhaps you didn't notice that Black is - as usual - playing from the top of the diagram to the bottom?
