In conclusion, Queen vs. Rook is really difficult to win, as shown by the fact that I had to use the Syzygy endgame tablebase for key position 3. However, some of the defending side's best moves are truly unintuitive, so it may be much easier against a human.

Also, the winning side has to watch out for some drawn positions
