A good ending to learn. Note, the puzzle's solution is not the only correct solution--both 2.Bf8 and 3.Ng6+ also lead to mate in five.

Indeed, I looked at several alternatives, but they were all rejected.
For example,
1. Nf4 (taking away escape square h5) Kh7
2. Bf8 (now completely boxing in the king) Kh8
3. Nh5 Kh7
4. Kh8 Bg7+
5. Kh7 Nf6#
