Two knights vs queen?

Wiki says it's drawn, but how (the tablebase will be useless, since almost every move will say "draw")?

How is that useless? Play out the tablebase lines, from both sides.

See what I mean?

No, there is now winning move, what did you expect to see?

Enter a move for White, see what the losing moves(if any) are for Black. I expect it will eventually come up with a 2 Knight fortress, or something, but I could be wrong.

This game is not easy, if you want to learn stuff like this, you have to put in a little work.

What I mean is, there is no best move for white in that, they all just say "draw".  How am I supposed to find it out against best opposition if all of the legal moves just say "draw"?

Well, theroretically there is no 'best' move. There is now win. But I understand what you mean, now. You want to fin the White moves that would make it most difficult for a non-tablebase human to defend against.

Maybe set it up against an engine, and see what happens.

The only losing moves are ones that blunder a knight.

Well, maybe it's not such a tough draw, then.

My only engine (Crafty from FICS) played this out as a win! (Obviously, it made incorrect moves)

I wrote some descriptions on the endgame http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6F7x1KVQ_nY

I might make some more videos on the same endgame
