What is your favorite endgame position

That's a good one. What's your current favorite?

I like an endgame position that has more than 8 men and one that engines can't solve.
I've used the analysis engine on chess.com for a position like this. It found mate in 17. But this is mate in 9.
Current stockfish-devel needs less than 10 seconds to solve this as #9.

For me it gets stuck on 0.00... for at least a minute. After 1. a6 it calculates mate in 8 in about three seconds.

N9531L, do you have more studies?
Of course. But I'm still waiting for your answer to my question at #260.

@Trexler: I guess that means you believe you have found White's drawing procedure. If so, what do you believe is the lesson taught by this problem?

@Trexler: And in Daily Puzzle Submissions! *Be Involved*, I'm still waiting for your response to the last two positions I posted (#3074, #3077).

Mine is vancura

It was a snark, seeing that you were often called upon to resolve these endgame positions.

I guess?
In the variation of g6 Kd3 is a draw and also f7 is a draw but after f8Q+? It is a win for black. Correct is also then Kd3 witha draw.
After f8Q+? follows not Kf7? ( a draw ) but Kg7! followerd by Kh6 and Kh5 with a win.
So you have a new favorite every time. What's your all-time favorite?
