30 second time control?

Is there a game mode where, rather than having a set amount of time (3min, 10min etc) you have something like 30 seconds to make a move or else you forfeit the game? With no maximum game length?

I'm still learning the game and I don't like how I get into winning positions in games but just end up running out of time at the end. While I'm learning I would like to be able to think about each move without having to worry about using up my clock. Any suggestions? Thanks, Jono.

With 'daily' chess you can move any time you like, that is, as quickly or slowly as you like, as long as you don't exceed the daily (1 day, 3 days, 10 days, etc., etc.) per move time limit.  So you have the potential for lots of time to think if you need it.  No rush.  You might try a 1-day per move 'daily' game to see how that works for you.  Of course your opponent also has the same option as you to move as quickly or slowly as they like, as long as they don't exceed the 1-day per move limit (in this example).
