Always ask these questions in every move. Don't skip a single move.

1. Am I getting checkmated in next move?

2. Is there any check from my opponent? What are the possible checks my opponent can give? Always consider and prioritise your opponents checks before making any plans or moves. If there is no check, you are safe.

3. Any piece of mine is unprotected? Any of them in danger?  Is there any possibility that one my pieces may get capture in near future?  Should I give extra protections to any of my pieces?
