At what point would you no longer consider yourself a beginner?

I've been playing regularly for about 6 months, but still consider myself a beginner.

I don't know. Perhaps when your rating starts improving and you win more games without making some serious blunders?

i guess you aren’t a beginner around 1000, 1200+ because you don’t make obvious blunders anymore and you know openings and tactics.

Been as high as 1800 CFC Canada OTB and would still consider myself a beginner I would say around 2200-2300 happy.png about FM strength

It's pretty subjective. In my mind, beginner= learn how pieces move->hang pieces left and right. If you can avoid the constant blunders and get a sense of danger, you are probably not a true beginner anymore, but just a low-rated player (again just my opinion)
