being matched against players miles ahead of me

I seem to continually be matched against higher level players(~1000-1300), when I myself sit somewhere in the 300 region. it seems to happen most on daily games, and it is quite demoralising to be playing where I don't belong, and where I loose frequently. is there any way to control what level player you play against, or is this not an option due to the random partnership when it comes to starting a game?

Go to options and set up -100+100 ratings for opponents. It’s exactly what you are looking for.
