NO ONE knows how to play openings at your level.
Follow opening principles and youll be ahead of your opponents.

It's good to know which openings are "better" and how to punish an objectively bad one, but in most cases (especially at your level) the opening hardly matters. Magnus Carlsen could play the Fred Opening against either of us and he'd still dominate the game without even trying.

Any IM or GM could play a3-a4-h3-h4 against us and still win with no problem.
