bots are good

For the last couple of months I have just played against bots, first as white, over and over again, then repeated as black. Totally confused by openings, it seems there are so many different names which differ in the most minimal of ways. I have repeated the same basic moves which now seem to give a sound structure.
Took the brave step of playing a human, turned out to be a couple of hundred points rated ahead of me, I won..
So if advice from a beginner to other beginners is of any help, play bots, take back blunders, take back bad moves, repeat, then repeat again

Here’s the thing, human chess players have variety and creativity, something computers are limited in severely, while yes, bots do help you improve, the only way to actually improve in bullet, blitz, crazyhouse, tournaments, etc. is to play the chess variant you want to improve in, analyze the games you win, and give a nearly equal, but still deeper analysis of the games you lose in that variant.

A second thing, this is more important than my last point, is that chess bots, largely those on chess.com, are programmed to blunder intentionally, while yes, humans also blunder, not all human chess players want to blunder, humans give a better challenge overall when it comes to playing chess.

Yet, all of this is void if you are playing stockfish in general, as stockfish is nearly always the winner in most online chess games.

I think it depends on the bots..... They can be brutal. I used to think Nelson was a real handful but as time goes by things change.
