It looks like you used the site's random matchmaking to play a 3 minute blitz game against a human (with a similar rating as yours) rather than a bot. I'd chalk it up to misunderstanding the live play UI.
I haven't logged in much lately, I've been playing the computer in logged out mode. I've reached level 5, ie I've won several games at each of the preceding levels and now I'm at 5. I'd seen the logged in bots with different names and thought I'd give one of those a go, I can't remember which but I chose standard game at 3 minutes, I thought that this meant a 3 minutes limit on each move (I know, I know!). Anyway I started playing, I was winning when it timed out because I had to go to my front door, so I lost. This confused me enough but then I noticed that at the bottom of the panel to the right of the board it said that (someone who I now know to be a member) had left the chat room, I didn't even know that there was a chat room in that mode. In my game history it says that I did in fact play this particular member (and lost), I thought that I was playing a bot, what was happening?.
I've wondered about posting this query because I feel that I must have missed something so obvious that it's embarassing.
