I beat CPU 10 with it
are you joking?
Do you mean practice "tactics" or "puzzle rush"?
I meant tactics. It takes longer to solve a puzzle, so is supposed to be good for deepening your chess thought. Puzzle rush is good speed training, so is also useful. Tactics is more applicable to playing against the computer, where you have plenty of time to think.
Actually, I have tried it several times, but to no avail. Are the typical book moves the from your post above? Why do you think f3 works? Thanks for the input.

He is just trying to boast that he can defeat level 10 in spite of playing 1.F3.
1. f3 is a terrible first move. Rychessmaster1 was trolling you, and if you've played a few games that way, then you have learned just how bad 1. f3 is. Not that I've ever tried it myself. You will have to learn how to spot the trollish comments on these forums!

It's not hard to do. I'm an old guy.
Anyhow, I appreciate your advice. I have been working on tactics, and it does seem to help. I don't think I was "seeing" them before. Will keep chugging away.
Can't seem to break through passed level 6 vs. the computer. I've done it a few times, but not with any consistency.
How can I get passed level 6?
I mainly play the English opening.
