Castling

When I first started to play chess, I didn't know what castling was, or how to do it, for my first three months. Today, I'll give an example of what castling is. If you have any more, feel free to post them here. I hope this helps!

Two examples of castling: (One with a clear board, one in the middle of a game)

Thanks!

(I'm starting up a beginner's help account, so if you have any recommendations, feel free to comment)

Castling is not possible in your first picture for either side because the kings are not on their original square.

Castling is not legal for black in the second picture because white's queen is attacking f8.

Please don't. Don't try to teach people stuff that you don't know either. Like castling.

Thanks for giving actual advice, I appreciate it.

You know, it would be more helpful if you just told me what I did wrong, instead of "You can't do that" or "Don't give advice you don't know." I'm sick of it. If you don't have anything instructive or even remotely smart to say, be quiet.

Dude, it was you who tried to "teach" beginners how to castle, showing instead a position where it is not possible. You even threatened to make a "beginners help account".

You are not an innocent beginner who asked for help, you are someone who actively spread misinformation.

I admire your efforts to helping people learn how to properly castle OP.

By trying to help others learn, we can sometimes help ourselves learn.

Even if you make mistakes, it’s okay.

People will point out the mistakes.

You shouldn’t get upset or offended when they do.

They are just trying to be helpful.
