If I practice against the computer a lot how much in the long term will it help me well get better at chess as long as I analyze the games I do with it a lot and learn from my mistakes ?

It can help a lot if you really take the time to go through your game afterwards and review your main mistakes.

Just running the analysis report won't help.  You should probably spend at least as long on the analysis as you did on the game itself.

Do you use the retry/ key moments feature? Those are  places you made big decisions that change how the game came out.

Do you lose because you drop pieces right and left? Do you get back rank mated?

You have to really try and pay attention to those things.

Well I My main problem if it is a problem is I try to take powerful pieces sometimes two fast from my opponent and sometimes it screws me over and sometimes it helps me in the game and a lot of the time I don’t think how it will effect the game later.

I would definitely recommend practicing against humans rather than with computers if you are trying to improve. Humans and computers play fundamentally differently. Humans like to play according to good chess principles and practices while computers simply calculate without emotion. By playing with other humans you can observe these practices and pick them up yourself. You can always analyse using the engine afterwards anyway, but definitely play with humans :)
