Why don't we discuss some points on Chess?

How to set up a Chess board

Checkmate-

To check the king so that the king has no moves.

Stalemate-

when the king has no moves and is NOT in check, and there are no pieces , it is stalemate.

Stalemates are also caused when there are no pieces left , exept kings.
