Tactical training is a good start. Once you get familiar with how pieces move and capture, you should be able to scan the board more quickly for any threats of both your opponent's and your own.

Hello, as a beginner I wanted to ask. How long does it take to improve? In my blitz statistics, I improved from 341 to 725. I would like to have rating at least 1000. Some people say it´s better to play daily or rapid, when you are beginner, but I get a lot worse in rapid because I can´t concentrate more than 15 minutes and then I do blunders, how can I get rid of this in rapid?
