The crab opening does not control the center or develop knights and it also ruins your safety if you castle.

The Crab does control the center (From Distance)

The Crab does develop the knights (To Edges)

The Crab opening allows for Queen or King side castling!

Tell me - What are you afraid of?

Chess can be played in many different ways.

Have you even tried playing the line before you started saying bad things about it?

I'm 100 elo, and even I say this isn't really practical. I may try it once as a joke, but not unironically.

Your 100 Elo.

Your losing Chess motivation.

It sounds like you hit rock bottom!

Tell me - What do you have to lose?

Why not give line a try?

It might make you have fun and laugh.

You also might win several games.

In low level chess, and especially in speed chess, openings don't matter at all. You can play the second worst opening (Bongloud) and win, if you outplay your opponent in the middlegame. You can even play the worst opening (the Crab) and win.

You are half Correct Magipi!

The part of your statement which is incorrect is part about Crab Opening being the worst.

The worst White Opening in chess is the Grob because engines have found a refutation.

It has different ideas vs. Hippo.

This is why it is called the Crab Opening.

Crab opening aims to attack enemy from the sides!
