Have you ever used hints for Sunday's puzzles(which are extremely hard), or you just make random moves hoping it to be correct?
The best advice I would like to give is don't use hint(unless absolutely necessary), and don't make random moves. First try to understand what's happening on the board, and look at these three crucial moves you can play, which are CHECKS, CAPTURES and THREATS, and then look for the best moves which can improve your position on the board.
This advice can also be given in chess games which you play, and for beginners, use 15|10 time controls so that you can maximize your thinking of the position.
