I realize cell phones are not allowed during rated chess matches. However, I see some using cell phone devices for notation.. which begs me to question what types of chess clocks are allowed.. Digital boards like DGT are allowed... what about clocks? For example, Can I use chess.com clock app for tournament/rated game play? Thanks for your reply in advance!
