A fork of a checkmating square and a piece.

I’m running a fork against my wife right now, twice. We are playing two games against each other and I’ve got a forked attack in both of them. It cost her a rook in both cases, and is likely to cost her a bishop in one of the games too.

It's OK to fork your wife repeatedly, but you shouldn't come to a chess forum and brag about it.

This is the traxler counter attack.

Stockfish does not like it. If you attack with bishop instead of knight you are far ahead.

Just put the traxler into stockfish. It doesn't like it anyways.

That's called a discovered check.
