Levy Is a youtuber and entertainer not particularly good but he's likeable

Hikaru somehow gets a free pass to smurf via "speed running" I swear the guy just stomps worse players all day and streams it.  A solid troll so he gets my sub I've always been that guy who loss bots to club seals and avoid a challenge in any game XD.

As far as getting better I have found none of these guys are any good for that and playing more makes you better.  I will say the best hidden gem videos are from josh waitzkin the dude the made the searching for bobby fisher movie about.  I found his commentary on his own games incredible wish he had more videos.

They don’t help much, it’s more him showing off how much he knows. As for applying any of it in a real game, forget about it. There’s plenty of other YouTubers who give actual instruction, like Naroditsky or ChessBrah.

My rating was 198 when I watched Gotham. Started watching Naroditsky, ChessBrah and Eric Rosen and I’m up to 1000+

Honestly I've gained more opening prep from him than anyone else... It got me to 1600 from around 1400 or so...

If watching Levi took you from 1600 down to 1400:

Either stop watching Levi or watch closer.

Either stop replying or read closer.

And someone's big brother comes in.

Funny enough the adivice you give to me is good for yourself.

You missed "If".    happy.png
