"been doing 10 min rapid" ++ Change to 15|10. You have more time to think.
Thanks to the increment you can always win a won position or draw a drawn position.
"if i make so much as one or two mistakes they win the match"
++ 'The winner is the one who makes the next-to-last mistake.' - Tartakower.
Analyse your lost games and learn from your mistakes.
"end up timing out" ++ Play with increment.
"They fight harder then this sites 1200 bot." ++ A bot errs too, but in a non-human way.
People find it difficult to programme weak bots. They tent to play fine then make an obvious mistake because they can’t tell this difference between obvious and opaque. Humans tend to play badly consistently and make more hidden errors.
been doing 10 min rapid, and it feels like 2 out of 3 matches im facing people of which are around the same ranks as me, but if i make so much as one or two mistakes they win the match. I been trying to take much more time between moves and reading everything, they always call out my tricks as if they are 3 or 4 moves ahead, and seem to do it within as little as around 30 seconds meanwhile im trying my best to just not make a mistake and end up timing out. Its like one wrong blunder and then it leads to an avalanche of trading pieces blunders or what the computer calls blunders or mistakes is really just me getting pinned and stomped by this 200 who is like i dunno how many moves ahead of me but always ahead of me. They fight harder then this sites 1200 bot.
I have no idea what you're goals are. But if you wish to improve? You need to play longer time controls. If you are not going to give yourself time to think? What do you think is going to happen?
