I am in need of help. My younger sister is playing wayyyy better than me. As in I am an ant and she is an elephant! Does anyone have fast strategies to use in the complicated game of chess?!?!?

Try using the lessons they have.
They’re really good I learned to play from them they teach you a lot and actually let you try what they’re teaching instead of just putting on a Video

Well, first stop comparing yourself to your sister, everyone develops at different rates. Second, don't look for "Fast strategies" to use in complicated games, they don't exist. Third, understand the fundamentals, understanding the principles of center control, piece development, castling, and so on can't be overstated.

You need to think of it less as running a race, and more as building a house, if you have poor foundations, then everything else will fall apart. However, once you have good foundations you will be able to start to see where mistakes are being made as you build up from there.

Plus, this blog should help you get started to learning opening principles if this is a newer topic for you. Good luck and have fun. Chess is a game after all, but it takes YEARS to get really good in most every case; just keep learning, have fun, and enjoy the journey happy.png
