When I started chess, I began at 400 rating, so I am not sure whether I can help you here. I think you just need to build experience (This is very important for your level to improve). After that comes doing chess puzzles, and checking whether your intended move is a blunder or not, and you are good. Once you have a good knowledge about chess, let’s say between 400 - 1000, start learning about king pawn opening traps.

I'm still kinda new.

- I learned a couple openings (london and queens gambit for white, pirc for black). And learned a few simple traps to use with those openings.

- I looked up how to defend against things that opponents use on me (scholars mate, englund gambit, etc.).

- I'm starting to actively use forks, pins, and skewers. These along with the traps are helping me learn how to think more tacticly.

- Trying to improve my weak endgame. I struggle at the end unless I'm dominating. If I can tighten up and improve my pawn runs and checkmates, it might be one of the biggest helps to my win rate.

After looking at one of your games, it looks like you play aggressively (which is fine). But safety and protection are important. While there is a temptation to take every piece we see, we have to make sure our pieces are safe. Don't throw away pieces unless you are trading up.
