By the move Rd2, you attack the pawn on b2 and make your attack on the kingside even more dangerous at the same time.

I usually see WHY the best move IS the best move, but I am totally at a loss on this one. I am up a knight, but when Villain kicks my knight why is the best move to allow him to potentially trade a pawn for my knight?
