I don't need any help with blunders, I fill my quota every game all on my own.

Sometimes blunders aren't very obvious until your opponent opens your eyes for you.  Sometimes when that happens, it can almost delightfully surprising.  To truly understand a position to the best of whatever your abilities might be, time is your best, maybe your only, friend.  You must examine every reasonable possibility, and it doesn't hurt to look at some less-reasonable-on-the surface possibilities. . . .  and this takes time.

Blitz teaches you nothing and more often than not blunders in blitz games simply stay hidden because your opponent has no more time than you to find and exploit them.

You need to think about pushing the post button before pushing the post button.

This game I've just played at ten-minute blitz is an object lesson in how to react to your blunder. I made a total hash of my opening .... the B belonged at e7 rather than b4+ which was terrible, and then I made a stupid miscalculation which lost a piece for a pawn and I nearly resigned but I'd just beaten my opponent and he'd asked for a rematch and I could tell he wasn't so great on tactics.

I assessed my position .... I had a secure passed pawn for the piece and if my opponent made two blunders then maybe I could still win or salvage a draw .... https://www.chess.com/live/game/3931053462

Sorry my computer doesn't handle the animated boards but it really is worth a look at how patience and just plugging away can turn the tide again.
