Videos are passive study. Active study is important. Things like puzzles and and reviewing your games, especially keeping the engine off for a bit first so you can re-think through the difficult positions. Also, blitz doesn't give enough time to learn while you play. In that format you have to spend most of your moves guessing for good moves instead of searching for best moves. Playing rapid will make your games double as practice far better than blitz. And of course, don't forget to keep having fun, getting frustrated or bored can be deadly to your mindset even if you're giving full focus.

Hi, there was a time when I was stuck at 200 elo for a long time. But then my elo skyrocketed and I reached 704 in 150 rapid games. For improvement you should do puzzles, not only on chess.com but on other sites for tactical improvement. Always review your losses so that you can improve on your mistakes. Play more against much stronger opponents to know what they do to win, what tactics they use, endgame patterns used by them etc. You can go to your profile settings and set your opponent rating range of live chess to any. I hope this helps.

Your account says you haven't played a Rapid game for about 11 months so how do you know you haven't got better since then? happy.png
