So I have played 10 games but only lose. Is there even a way to win or are everyone cheating?

Maybe you need to improve a little and if you want to do that you should study and play longer time controls.

Hi! My name is Lauren Goodkind and I'm a chess coach based in California!

I have several tips to share with you to help you start winning games!

1) Ask questions before making a move.  For example, ask, "If I move here, is it safe?", or "Can I safely capture a piece?"

2) Play with a slow time control, such as game in 30 minutes.  You need time to think to avoid making silly mistakes.

3) I offer a free eBook for beginners on how to get better in chess on my website: www.ChessByLauren.com

4)If you are very serious about improving, I suggest hiring a chess coach.

5) Learn basic tactics, such as the fork, pin, discovered attack, and more.

6) Consider all checks and captures.

  I hope that this helps!

You seem to play the same opening every game, and *spoiler alert*, it's a really bad opening.

mrizzo 14 seems to have found your main problem right there. I took a look and yikes.

If you’re new to chess, playing bullet is just not a way to get better! Play 10 minute time controls AT LEAST. 30 min. is better. You need time to think! The reason anyone gets good at bullet or blitz is by playing a lot of slower chess and building up memory of familiar positions. Playing 1 minute time control games just won’t let you learn. (All of Lauren’s suggestions come from the voice of experience but that one in particular is enormous!)
