How long did it take you to get an elo of 1000 in chess.

I started as a 1200 and never dipped below 1000, It would be absolutely embarassing for me. I never ever studied chess because i don't see any good reason for It and proubly maintained 1300 and climbing. The sub-world below 1000 is absolutely dirty chaotic and miserable and I hope I'll never fall that low in life

I started playing seriously last year in August 2024, Initially my rating was around 400 and reached 1000 in April 2025 (Would've made it earlier but I stopped playing for 1-2 months and also played lot of blitz before starting rapids again)

coming from the guy whos played 15000 games and is only rated 1400
The opponents I face are always cheating and Chess.com only tracks about 10% of them. Maybe even less.
they probably arent you just likely aren't playing the best you can and your opponent punishes you also chess com catches a large amount of cheaters
