How to defend against this early Queen attack?

This is only the second time I have encountered this specific Queen attack, and I cannot figure out how to defend this without losing at least my rock (which I tried to avoid): https://www.chess.com/game/live/7417392117

Never play 2.f6 to defend your e5 pawn because it opens that diagonal for the queen which hurt you. 2.Nc6 or 2.d6 every time. Don't play that move ever again and you won't ever lose horribly to an early queen attack ever again. It is also terrible in this scenario...

I'll repeat it a 3rd time for good measure. Never play 2.f6!

Thanks a lot! Im just a bit surprised that its already too late to counter the attack after Q h5.

If you don't know it then it can be a shock that something so innocuous on move 2 can be so terrible, but it just is! Remember this from the white side as well in case any unsuspecting opponents play it against you and it can be you that inflicts the pain 😁

Hehe, I will. It feels crushing!

Play nelson bot a few times to practice this.
