How to do the “fried liver†opening

How to defend
After 1 e4 e5 2 Nf3 Nc6 3 Bc4, two common suggestions are 3...Bc5 and 3...Nf6 4 Ng5 d5 5 exd5 Na5.
Some help might be found in First Steps: 1 e4 e5.

Generally, against the e4 lines.....I recommend that you not go for the Fried Liver. I used to play it, and even though I won, it's a pretty unclear position. I prefer this instead
Here's a game, I was black. Yeah, missed a few things, but .... tournament conditions, TC 40/2 d5; G/30 d5.

No one plays 5...Nxd5, but 5...Na5; and White is the one to suffer (though with an extra pawn).
ofc, but the Fried Liver attack can only be initiated on Nd5. I'm showing him a better alternative
