In settings under Live Chess, uncheck the "Always Promote to Queen" option.

If you have auto-queen promotion enabled I think you can hold "alt" or "ctrl" or "shift", not sure which one but i think it's "alt" and it gives you the option of choosing...
I wish chess.com was as good as lichess in terms that they have the option "auto promote to queen only when you have 30 seconds or less"

I am rather new to chess.com.
How do I promote a pawn to a knight or rook? I searched the site but couldnt find the answer. Now I can only promote to a queen, which goes automatically. But I'd like to be able to choose. How is this done on chess.com?
