How to step from beginner to intermediate

Five steps: 1. Play lots more games and analyze your mistakes within them. 2. Do plenty of puzzles and chess practices to see what to do in different positions. 3. This is optional, but watching grandmasters play chess may give you plenty of good ideas to put to use in your games. 4. Study openings and endgames to see their principles. 5. DO NOT trust your given chess.com ELO rating if you can beat any bots on challenge mode higher than your level. To find your true ELO, you should use an ELO test made by experts. For example, I am rated about 800 on my games, though I can beat 1400-rated bots on challenge mode, though ELO tests prove me to be rated around 1500. If you find these tips unhelpful, contact keanucir on chess.com and he will provide you with advice on how to step up and leave the realm of beginner level chess.

Bruh, if you think you have a true rating of 1400 then why you losing to 700s?

#5 is the best tip. I will use that and identify as a 2400 player.

Isn't it more likely that your online rating is inflated compared to OTB, rather than the other way around? I always assumed that my OTB rating would be about -200 compared to my online rating.
