The term “good player” is completely relative.
A person who has just learned how to move the pieces is good in comparison to a non-player but not a 1500 who is not good in comparison to a 2000 who is not good in comparison to a 2500 GM who is not good in comparison to Magnus Carlsen who is not good in comparison to Stockfish who is not good in comparison to AlphaZero, who will likely not be any good compared to an engine of the future.
OP, it could simply be that you are better at chess than you think you are, what do you think?
I have bookmarked this thread so in exactly one year I will check on your rating and post your new rating in this thread for you.

An exception is people that don’t play chess lol. They’re not good players because they’re not players.
