I don't understand the puzzles

Hi,

first, I don’t understand what the score at the bottom means and how it relates to game progress. Second, I’ve already played well over 100 puzzles, but they’re all just one-move checkmates—either with the queen or the rook. I kept thinking forks and pins would come up soon, but I’m slowly getting impatient…Can anyone help me? A link with some info would be enough… thank you!

On the bottom of your screenshot, there is a settings icon to choose the difficulty.

@justbefair I know that, but shouldn’t the puzzles automatically change as I progress?

Yes. They have been updating the puzzles recently and some things like the automatic increase in difficulty seem to be having problems.

@justbefair thanks, does that mean my rating can rise to 2000–3000 with only simple puzzles?
