At the time of posting this, you played two moves in one game. You are asking about a better experience, but better than what? You have essentially had no experiences on this site yet.
Go to the menu screen and click on every option under Home, Play, Puzzles, Learn, Today, and More. Before you play, explore the site and become familiar with its many many offerings. Though you may not use them all, it's great to know that they are there. This is far more than just a site where you can play some chess-though it excels at that. Here you can read articles, watch masters play live games, play over the games of the immortal greats of past and present, do drills and exercises, solve tactical problems, and take lessons. As a non-paying member, you might find your options somewhat limited, but by the time you've familiarized yourself with all the things you have (and don't have) available, I think you'll be plunking down some cash for a premium membership.
