I just reached 1400 ELO on puzzles in the first month of playing chess. Is this good progress?

My Rapid rating first fell to 220 but is now at 350 and is now steadily rising.

Puzzle ratings are pretty meaningless. Also good is dependent on your time put in and your goals. Just enjoy the game for what it is, as long as you're improving that's all that really matters

I'm not sure puzzle rating does anything.

If you solve a puzzle correctly, it will never lower your rating. And you can think for half an hour about the correct move. So in that regard high puzzle ratings are only a question of endurance.
