Hey chess lords and ladies.

I know the rules of Chess and know how to play the game. i also know beginner strategies and tactics like controlling the center, using forks and other basic things. I was doing some studying and it seems there are A LOT of different openings, middle game strategies, end game strategies, rules on pawn structure etc. i found that a bit overwhelming.

My Question is - Where do i start? and What is important to focus on as a more experienced beginner?

i love this game and want to become a competent player.

I'm a beginner too so I'm not exactly fit to give advice, but I'm confused as to why you asked that question and your account is closed...
