when you fear, all is lost
Im scared of lowering my rating

Looking at the game llampozhil25 posted, it looks like you need to slow down and look at all of your options.

I THINK I AM RATED 3300 IN CHESS DOT COM. AND I HAVENT LOST A GAME AND I EVEN BEAT MAGNUS CARLSON CHECK MY PROFILE TO SEE HOW!
Your highest rating ever was 836 and I don't see any GM matches won or lost. Also, you lose games from time to time and in the beginning (like all of us) you failed a lot. Stop lying. Nobody's perfect.

Thanks for the advice! I play 30 min rapid now.

This is the highest rating I have ever got. (145) rapid. And I am afraid of lowering it. I remember when I hit rock bottom: 100. I played with another person who was 100 and won. Then my rating got higher and lower over and over. This is the highest I have got and I am afraid that I will lower it back down to what it used to be. So I have been playing with bots. I beat Sven, who is 1100 Elo, but I am still afraid. Any suggestions?
Bots in the 10th move and lower are good, but after that they just malfunction, so that's why you won.
Analyze a mistake you keep doing and try looking for a better move in that position. Helped me fix many common mistakes.
Play against friends in unrated and more, just keep practicing to make it short.
This helped my friend too

You could start by learning how to spell "Carlsen" correctly :/

Learn how to play properly and you won't lose so much.
that's harsh
The truth hurts

In rapid I have been 777 for ages and never play rapid cuz i like number 777. I also took a long break back when it was 666. Now i pretty much only play blitz and occasionally bullet till I can catch up to my 777 rapid even though I know that I play far better when i aint worrying as much about time trouble and actually have some time to sit and think about what I'm doing, and rapid is better cuz it don't make me as mad and don't give me heartburn. blits and bullet is fustating cuz I keep loozing on time when I basically got the other guiys king running around naked on the board

I have no suggestion, but I'll tell you what happened to me recently:
I played on lichess.org, got to 2110, beat an FM [Crushing him], had a series of losses who got me to 1900+.
On chess.com I had a loss-series who got me to 1490, and now I'm 1800+...
---
Rating, is overrated.
---
I think I can conclude, that your real rating, is your average rating. - I move on lichess.org from 2110 to 1990? well...
Average = (2110 + 1990) / 2 = 2050.
I can relate to this too. I was at a personal best in blits, but then I started playing siodum attack and drunken knight attack because I remember I used to play like that as a 5 year old, and then my dad kept getting mad at me for sucking. and I never touched the game again till 22 years later or so. I realize why playing like that suiocks because I went down like over 100 rating pouints and had to take a break from chess cuz i was piossed off

I have not played rapid in a month because i like my number which is the highest number i got so far. So if I want to play rapid I play on lichess so I dont risk my rating. Also i started to play blitz to on lichess because now my blitz here is my highest so far.
Almost nobody in the world cares what your rating is, and six months from now no one will care what your rating used to be. If you don't play, you will never improve. And if you don't improve, who cares what your rating is?
The word "Almost" is probably there because there are some people who think another person's rating is a valuation of how worthwhile that person is.
That seems particularly prevalent among the strong youthful players and might be due to them starting in a club with other youthful players that had that attitude and were condescending to the newcomer because of the low rating. Or a club of older adults that look down on the young new player.
A community club that accepts young players and treats them with all the respect they give other chess players works better because the young players are not getting ridiculed for their errors and when (not if) the young players get skillful enough to beat the adults they will continue to return that respect.
From a practical standpoint, many players will be internally condescending to those more than 500 points lower-rated and a number of them will also be externally condescending. If the other player is not condescending then your rating doesn't matter. If the other player is only internally condescending then your rating does not seem to matter. If the other player is visibly condescending then the other player's opinion is not worth worrying about.

exscactly. I have low rating in chess because I sucks, but in rocket league I recently cracked champ 1 in doubles! I still play chess cuz i like it, people shouldn't be restricted to only the games or activity that they are good at. If someone poo poo you because ur low rating, remember that there is probably a lot of ting that you can do that some world class chess player not able to do.

I played a board in a 13 person simultaneous game, with Jonathan Berry.
Every time he came by to make a move I'd look at his shoes.
After 6 times he asks "So why do you keep looking at my footwear?"
I reply "I just wanted to see if you are one of those savants that can only play chess".
He laughs and mentions he drove his own car all the way to the match by himself.

I think it is a good thing to try to improve our scores by improving our skills,
but we should not be afraid to accept our current rating "as a fact" (knowing that it is only approximate) -- the lower it is, the easier it should be to progress :-) !
- and I think anyone who really wants will be able to progress, even if only slowly.
We have to train with puzzles, lessons, and games.
If you are as low as 100 you should probably train a little against the lowest rated computer bots, and do the game review in order not to do the same mistakes again. (It may be worth while to write down into a little booklet these things you want to remember, in case you can't remember them just by seeing it on the computer screen.....
You should really try to learn them by heart as you learn poems or vocabulary in school.
It may be a good plan to learn by heart 1-2 setup openings: London system if you're white, King's Indian defense if you're black.

Well how are you ever going to make it higher if you don't play?
you should practice unrated too, and when you feel ready play rated.

This blog post might also be useful for you, since I'm guessing you aren't aware of/using opening principles yet. They help chess players even get to 1000 or higher rating! Obviously, 1000+ takes more than just a few guidelines out of the opening stage of the game, but it is a good starting point if you want to improve something and don't know a good place to begin:

Around 1000, learning basic checkmates (like Queen + King vs King) or basic theoretical endgames (like King + pawn vs pawn when it is winning or drawn) can also be extremely helpful to know
This one is also really good ;)
well i will analyse youre last rapid loss (as those are usually more informative)
well, its just blundering stuff for which puzzles are helpful
