Is there a manual here for setting up and personalizing game settings properly?

Yes I have looked around and searched for this.

I am struggling with the game part of the interface here. Not just the moves! But wondering if I could have split screen of two different parts of the site, stop the 3 day game shrinking away after I confirm move etc. Also I fell into a blitz game on my first game I set up here and it was not pleasant what he said about my slowness. Surely there is a help file showing all the controls we can have of the game interface?

Not really.  They have a Help page which answers many questions. Some of the answers are out of date.

As far as staying on the game after you submit, you can select that on daily chess settings.

Hmm that's surprising. Might cause a bit of stress for me and my opps for a while. Thanks for letting me know though...

Doesn't matter anyway (this thread). I tried to do the right things, but I got labelled an "unsportsmanlike person" when I hadn't done anything wrong except win games I think, one seek I forgot I had and went to the bathroom....and so I was unable to get rid of that label, so I don't recommend playing live here, there are fairer places to play chess games in real time.

Once you have been deemed to be an unsportsmanlike person you can't play anyone except those same people.

I think you only have to avoid going to the bathroom in the middle of a game for three days.
