It seems like I'm not cut out for chess.

Komodo*, Maia, The King known for humanization. Komodo and The King offer personalities, something Maia doesn't have (random chess player's concern about averageness).
Where can I access The King?

I spend a lot of time reading chess books and studying to become a better player. I'm just getting worse. I hit 1300 in rapid, and I started thinking I was actually good at this game. Wrong! After the few days that got me to 1300, I've gone back to my normal performances. Bad. Keep dropping to 1100's and losing quite pathetically. I study and study and try really hard to take my chess to the next level, but it's hopeless. I have 1 good day of chess a week and the rest of days are me playing like a complete amateur. It makes me wonder, how the heck did I even reach above 1000 when I play worse than 800 rated players a lot of the time. I'm hanging pieces and falling for simple tactics. No matter how hard I try, it feels as if it's not meant to be. Maybe my brain can't handle chess? I do have adhd and dyslexia so focus and alertness really is a problem for me. Sometimes I feel like giving up, but I always come back because I love the game. It's frustrating though. I'm getting angry when I play recently, and I'm not enjoying it as much. I think I lost the plot.
Dont lose hope, It happens to all chess players, just take rest for few days and do not play any game instead solve chess puzzles, after few days you will get your rating back.

BTW, @basketstorm, could you please change your username to VladimirKramnik? It would fit your personality better.

What’s the point of your post? Commenting on someone’s personality is unnecessary, personal attacks are not allowed here or in any serious society. Regarding Kramnik, neither you nor I are qualified to question his findings and theories.

Chessmaster 11th edition (GM edition)
Chessmaster 10th edition. Chessmaster Challenge is simplified 10th edition. Has less chess sets
Chessmaster 4000 to 9000 could work on modern systems after some tweaking but 11th (GM) edition is the final (for PC) and the best version.
There IS a way to make The King run as engine in free Chess UI software such as Arena, set up personalities there etc. Requires advanced computer user skills.
And TheKing is not actually free. You probably can't buy it anymore, it can be available as abandonware but that's kind of grey zone. Only legal way is to have a CD or buy a used CD.

If you mean this stuff included
look at that scale, it barely goes above 50%
A human doesn't make the human move 50% of the time, it makes the human move either a lot more or a lot less.
A human being couldn't predict another humans moves 50% of the time. What were you expecting, 100% ability to predict what a human plays? 50% is impressive. And my guess would be the engine is also less likely to go for super-deep forcing variations, which is the main issue with playing bots.
To know how it plays you'd really need to test it.
But the main use of bots, as far as I'm concerned, remains that they allow you to setup and practice a specific position repeatedly. I certainly wouldn't forgo playing human players in favor of bots in all my games.
Here's an inspirational quote, I don't remember who said it, "most failures today are because people didn't notice how lose they were to success" just keep working hard and your bound to get better.

You mentioned that you’re getting angry and not enjoying the game as much. When we place too much pressure on results or performance, it’s easy to burn out. Focus on playing for the love of the game. Try to enjoy the process, the learning and even the mistakes, rather than focusing on rating fluctuations.
Then you would be doing something useful with your life, a prospect that may seem bleak, but it actually can give you a feeling of purpose, and meaning once in a while.
